We know that Heather may have run away, but since there has been no contact with anyone by Heather, we feel that she may have in all actuality been “Stranger Abducted”.
For it is not in Heather's nature to be gone this long without contacting somebody!
If she contacted anybody it would have been her Brother & extended Family in Oklahoma.
The reason we feel this to be true is because Heather stated to her friends, that she missed her Oklahoma Family and she wanted to see them.
We offered to let her go to them, but she told us that she didn't want to go and that she wanted to stay with us.
Heather tries to please people so if she felt it would hurt her Dad for her to go to Oklahoma, Heather would have said she didn't want to go even if she truly wanted to go.
Between Heather’s wanting to go to Oklahoma and some challenges happening for her at Home & School, we feel this is why Heather intended to “Runaway”.
We tried helping Heather through these School challenges as best as any Parent could.
Another point of contention for Heather is that she blamed her Stepmother for keeping her Biological Mom and Dad split up, although they have not been together for thirteen years.
Deep down Heather loved her Family and Friends and she would not have deliberately stayed out of contact with “Everybody” she knows and loves for this length of time.
With all things said and to sum this up, Heather is an eager to please normal teenager and although we have schooled her all through her youth not to talk to strangers. We strongly believe that Heather may have done this recently to her own peril!
We feel strongly that in her intent to “Runaway”, inadvertently gave some Stranger the opportunity to Abduct Heather.
Please, Help us Find Heather Lewis!
